Valencell Names Kent Novak Chief Executive Officer
Mark Floyd appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors; Current Valencell CEO and Board Chair Michael Dering is retiring
RALEIGH, N.C., Dec. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Valencell, the leading innovator in wearable biometric sensor technology, today announced that Kent Novak has been named Chief Executive Officer. Novak was most recently Senior Vice President & General Manager, DLP Products, at Texas Instruments (TI). There he transformed the DLP Products organization to help drive significant growth in multiple new markets. In addition, Valencell has named Mark Floyd Board of Directors Chairman. Floyd is a venture partner at TDF Ventures, one of Valencell's long-time investors, and has served as Chairman and CEO leading numerous public and private technology companies through acquisition and IPO.
Current Valencell CEO and Board Chair Michael Dering is retiring in December and will stay on in an advisory role through the transition.
