Valet Waste, LLC Names Michael Jacobs Chief Operating Officer
Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) November 20, 2016 -- Valet Waste, LLC, today announced that Michael Jacobs has been named Chief Operating Officer and will lead the further development of Valet Waste’s Operations as the company continues its growth and acquisition strategies. Mike will report directly to President/CEO Shawn Handrahan.

Mike has broad experience in operations improvement and turn-around work across multiple industries. Before joining Valet Waste, he served as a consultant for senior leaders of companies owned by private equity, leading continuous improvement efforts in manufacturing, distribution, financial services, and food service. Prior to that, Mike was the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing for the Eastern Division of Simmons Bedding, drastically improving customer satisfaction and increasing profitability while supporting the introduction of new channels and the largest product redesign in the company’s history. Earlier in his career, Mike led strategic initiatives in various Operations and Finance positions, acquiring a well-earned reputation as a creative and proven change agent.
Mike graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; he is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Sensei from Villanova University.
