Federal agencies will discuss actions taken across the United States Government, next steps, and actionable strategies to advance the affordability, accessibility, and scalability of food and nutrition programs
NEEDHAM, Mass., Oct. 10, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Validation Institute, its FoodMed Certified Program, and the Healthcare Innovation Company announced an agenda and preliminary list of speakers for the upcoming Food is Medicine Policy Update, which takes place October 28 at The Watergate Hotel, in Washington, DC.
Building on the momentum of the highly acclaimed Food as Medicine Strategy Summit that took place in May earlier this year, the Policy Update commemorates the second anniversary of the White House National Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health where more than 150 organizations made commitments to work toward ending hunger and building healthier communities. The Policy Update will focus on progress made and the path forward for implementing and operationalizing the National Strategy to integrate nutrition and health and increase accessibility to food and nutrition programs in the US.
