HOUSTON (PRWEB) October 08, 2018
ValvTechnologies, Inc., the global leader in the design and manufacturing of zero-leakage high-performance isolation valve solutions, took first place overall at the 2018 Fall Fit Company Challenge. Hosted by the Fit Company Institute, the bi-annual wellness initiative aims to motivate employees to be active in the office and on the field.
Challengers from companies in the Houston area exhibited their mental and physical stamina as they competed against each other in a three-course fitness event designed to test their strength, agility and endurance.
“The ValvTechnologies’ team consisted of 24 members, who worked together to finish a range of fitness stations,” said Julie Bodine, ValvTechnologies’ Director of Global Marketing and challenge participant. “Each course had its own demanding obstacles, requiring everyone to work together as a unit. The challenge was a great opportunity to showcase our months of training and ValvTechnologies’ commitment to wellness. The team enjoyed getting fit and having fun. We look forward to defending our title at next year’s Fit Company Challenge.”
