Vane anemometer PCE-VA 20-SET turns out very helpful for HVAC applications

JUPITER, Fla., Nov. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- After launching the new impeller anemometer PCE-VA 20 in 2015, PCE Instruments now also sells the test device as a complete set with a round and a square flow hood which makes it the ideal tool for monitoring HVAC systems. To do so, the flow hood is attached the anemometer and then the whole construction is placed on the air source to be tested. The rubber at the end of the air flow cone ensures that the area under test is airtight, without any interference from outside.

The PCE-VA 20 vane anemometer measures the wind velocity, flow, temperature, relative humidity, dew point and wet bulb temperature. It has a HOLD function, an Automatic Power Off function, a MIN and MAX value function, a backlit LCD and a battery level indicator. The PCE-VA 20 can measure wind velocities between 0.2 and 30 m/s and temperatures between -20 and +60 °C. It measures humidity values between 0.1 and 99.9 % relative humidity.
The impeller air flow meter comes with 4 AAA batteries, a carrying case and an instruction manual and if bought as a set, a round and a square air flow cone will be included as well.
