We are humbled to receive the award, and we also know that we share this award with our generous clients, who are equally committed to making a positive impact in our community.

Vector Wealth Strategies received the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville’s Community Philanthropy Award during the 10th annual Summit on Philanthropy held in September.

Vector Wealth Strategies has committed to making a difference in the community through its corporate giving funds supporting young scholars and future leaders as well as local nonprofit agencies. VWS clients also support the company’s community service projects, frequently volunteering to match funds and assist in the selection of scholarship and Community Impact Grant recipients.

Vector Wealth Strategies’ leadership team said the company is honored to be recognized by the Community Foundation.

“We are humbled to receive the award, and we also know that we share this award with our generous clients, who are equally committed to making a positive impact in our community,” Jay Dryden, VWS managing partner, said.

VWS senior partner Kelly Moise added, “Throughout the years I have had so many people help me when I needed it most. It has always been a top priority to be able to pay that forward. This was an important part of creating Vector and I am so excited to see philanthropy flourish within the company, but even better, be able to encourage others to help our community, too.”

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the philanthropy awards, the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville expanded the awards to include multiple individuals, family and corporate philanthropists. Individual and family winners include Joe and Pam Alexander, Mike and Patty Lowe and Jean McCrady. Corporate winners were Dynetics, Torch Technologies and Vector Wealth Strategies.

“I believe that we share in the mission with Vector Wealth Strategies, a company that has integrated generosity into the fiber of their organization’s values and culture, and whose giving spirit is making our great community even better,” Melissa Thompson, CEO/President of the Community Foundation, said. “It is a great privilege to be able to recognize and honor those who have demonstrated dedication and commitment to enhancing the quality of life in our community. Celebrating our six award recipients at the Summit on Philanthropy is a small token of our appreciation for their generosity and giving spirit.”
