SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Veedma, a preventive telehealth clinic for hormone and sexual health, has introduced two men's lab panels and a new flat-price membership. A new patient's first Men's Optimal Health Lab Test costs $59 and covers 65 biomarkers, the blood draw at Quest Diagnostics, a written report from Veedma's medical team and a video visit with a licensed doctor, who reviews the findings together with the patient's symptoms and medical history before treatment is considered.
Veedma has always started care with laboratory testing, for two reasons. The first is diagnosis. Fatigue, low mood, reduced libido, weight gain and poor concentration are often attributed to low testosterone, yet the same symptoms can come from thyroid disease, insulin resistance, iron deficiency, low vitamin D or sleep apnea, and a single testosterone number cannot tell these causes apart. The new panels measure that broader picture from the first blood draw.
The second is the treatment decision itself. Measured alongside testosterone, the pituitary hormones LH and FSH show whether a man's testes have stopped responding or whether the signal that drives them is what is low. In the European Male Ageing Study, published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism in 2010, about 86% of men with low testosterone had the second pattern: the testes still worked, and the signal was the problem. For these men the first step can be aimed at the signal or at its cause, such as excess weight, a thyroid or prolactin disorder, a suppressing medication, or treatment that restarts the body's own production. Testosterone replacement switches that signal off, and with it the testes' own output and sperm production, so Veedma's doctors keep it as the option for men whose findings call for it.
The Optimal panel includes Total and Free Testosterone measured by LC-MS/MS with equilibrium dialysis, estradiol, LH, FSH, PSA, a complete blood count, liver, kidney and electrolyte panels, cholesterol and blood sugar. Its regular price is $89; Veedma bills labs at what the laboratory charges and takes $30 off the first panel. The Men's Biohacking Lab Test, at $409, covers 103 biomarkers and adds thyroid function and antibodies, fasting insulin and HbA1c, ApoB, hsCRP, iron studies, vitamin D, B12, prolactin, DHEA-S and heavy metals, among others. Both prices include the blood draw at Quest Diagnostics, a written report from Veedma's medical team, and a video visit with a licensed doctor. Lab panels are FSA and HSA eligible.
Men who already have recent blood work do not need to buy a panel. Results from any laboratory drawn within the past 180 days can be uploaded at https://veedma.com/ for a free clinical review. The written report is typically returned within 24 hours on business days and within 48 hours on weekends and holidays. No credit card is required.
When the report shows a treatment path, the patient chooses a membership plan and books a video visit with a licensed doctor. The card is saved without a charge, and the plan activates only when the doctor issues a prescription. A doctor's prescription is required for every medication Veedma provides. Membership is one flat price for any dose: $79 per month on an annual plan, $129 per month on a quarterly plan, or $159 per month with no commitment. It includes prescribed daily medication, the first video visit, follow-up reviews of lab results and dose adjustments, unlimited messaging with the care team, and delivery from Veedma's NABP-accredited partner pharmacy. Lab panels are chosen separately from the membership.
Whichever path the doctor chooses, patients on treatment have their labs rechecked after the first month and every six months after that, and hematocrit and PSA are checked before treatment and on every follow-up panel. Veedma's protocols follow guidance from the American Urological Association, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the Endocrine Society.
