DUCK KEY, Fla., June 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Venture Construction Group of Florida (VCGFL) proudly sponsored the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) 2019 Spring Conference. The conference took place at the Hawks Cay Resort on Duck Key in the Florida Keys on June 3-5. VCGFL was the exclusive Hook and Cook sponsor and Gold Sponsor of the annual fishing tournament. As a long-time supporter of FAPIA, VCGFL staff also exhibited at the conference.

The FAPIA Fishing Tournament was held on June 2 from 8:30 am to 12:30 p.m., followed by the weigh-ins and award ceremony. Later that evening, the Hook and Cook Dinner took place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The Hawks Cay chef prepared fish caught that same day by the FAPIA Fishing Tournament Anglers. The networking event featured a delicious fresh catch dinner and live music served ocean side at sunset.
The three-day conference featured exhibitors, educational seminars, networking events, and a round table discussion. The conference kicked off with a welcome from the FAPIA President, Craig Drillich, who encouraged members to support the exhibitors and sponsors who support policyholder advocacy. The educational seminars included sessions on public adjusting, law and ordinance, roofing, business interruption, wind damage, claims, appraisal vs. litigation, loss lessons from hurricanes Irma and Michael, and case law.
