FAIRFAX, Va., May 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Vertical Flight Society is pleased to announce the election results for its Board of Directors. The next Board meeting will be held during the world's largest vertical flight conference — its 75th Annual Forum & Technology Display — May 13–16, 2019 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia: http://www.vtol.org/forum.

The following members were elected to the Board's Executive Committee for the one-year term of July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020:

  • Chair: Glenn Isbell, Jr, VP Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing Innovation, Bell (previously the Board President)
  • President: Edward Hoskin, VP Engineering, Pratt & Whitney Canada (previously the Board Secretary/Treasurer)
  • Secretary/Treasurer: Dan Schultz, President, Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company (new to the Board)*

Vertical Flight Society members in half of its ten regions elected or re-elected Regional Directors and Vice-Presidents for the two-year term of July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2021. Those new to the Board are marked with an asterisk.
