Vi, national developer, owner and operator of high-end retirement communities across the United States, has been named to Training magazine’s 2020 “Training Top 125” list for the 10th consecutive year, recognizing companies that demonstrate excellence in employee training and development programs. Ranking 42nd on the list, Vi is committed to providing all employees the opportunity to learn and thrive and realize their professional goals.
“We are honored to celebrate a decade of recognition from Training magazine,” said Judy Whitcomb, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Learning, and Organizational Development at Vi. “As we reflect on 10 years as one of the Top 125 organizations for training and development, our team doesn’t take this honor for granted. We continually strive to be an employer-of-choice dedicated to providing world-class training and development programs.”
With 10 luxury continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) throughout the United States, Vi has cultivated an award-winning employee learning and development strategy that includes development opportunities for all employees. These programs include a wide-spectrum of leadership and professional development programs that have not only contributed to Vi being recognized as a certified Great Place to Work, but to high-levels of employee engagement and retention.
“The 2020 Training Top 125 winners demonstrate the magic that happens when organizations tie training to specific, measurable strategic goals, leading to the behavior change, business impact, and employee engagement that drive success,” said Training magazine Editor-in-Chief Lorri Freifeld. “We salute these best-in-class organizations for their ardent dedication to continuous employee learning and development and their investment in innovative ways to deliver on their commitment.”
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Training magazine’s Training Top 125 Award winners represent the top learning organizations across the globe with the most successful employee-sponsored training and development programs. Based on benchmarks such as total training budget, learning goals, percentage of payroll, hours of training per employee annually, business outcomes measurement and more, the ranking is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors. Financial investment in employee development, the scope of development programs, how closely such development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives and the results they achieve are all considered in the rankings.
This year’s winners were honored at the Training 2020 Conference & Expo on Monday, February 24 in Orlando, Florida.
