“I Am A Child Of GOD”: a touching life story of a person woven through verses of prayer and poetry that run through her six decades of existence. “I Am A Child Of GOD” is the creation of published author Victoria J. Gadsden, a writer who began her walk with God at three years old. What inspired her to write were the glory and beauty of God’s creation and her personal walks with the Lord. She has lived and travelled to numerous towns, cities, and states.

Gadsden shares, “This book is an accumulation of prayers, poems, and prose written over the last sixty years. ‘My Special Prayer’ was written when I was at my first church camp. I was eight years old. ‘If We Had Peace’ was written at age twelve. The rest were written when with my grandparents in the summer on a lake in Michigan, school assignments, and just being with God in many situations.

“My walk with God began in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at age three. God and I have held hands and walked together throughout my sixty-four years. I’ve known Him since before I knew how to pray.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Victoria J. Gadsden’s new book is a captivating voice that captures a life filled with faith in the Lord and a heart that braved the troubles of the world.
