After 10 years in investment banking, Scott Eddy moved overseas and lived in Europe and Asia for 17 years. After selling a digital agency that he built, Mr. Eddy now travels full-time, often guest speaking at major travel industry conferences and consults for the world of luxury travel. With over 1.5 million followers combined through multiple social media platforms, Scott Eddy is rarely in the same time zone for more than a few days and wouldn’t want it any other way. Scott has been to over 75 countries, visiting exotic destinations all over the world to experience vibrant cultures, sample food and drink from top restaurants, and stay at award-winning hotels and resorts. This first episode of Video Globetrotter kicks off in Trinidad and focuses on the history and culture from Carnival and ziplining to tasting their iconic street food called “doubles.” Eddy continues into Antigua and interviews the CEO of Liat Airlines, Julie Reifer-Jones, who outlined the history of the airline and how it became a leading inter-Caribbean airline. Scott ends the Caribbean exploration in Grenada, a location he has frequented in the past. Grenada expands the viewers palate with beautiful vistas, majestic resorts such as the Calabash Resort, and pristine beaches. Through the show, Scott Eddy gives an up close look into colorful Caribbean characters, beautiful scenery and leaves his audience longing to get away and thirsting for adventure, and of course, rum punch!
