Viewpoint Construction Software Advances Usability in Latest Release

(PRWEB) October 21, 2013 -- Viewpoint Construction Software®, providing construction specific software that integrates, announced today the availability of the latest version of its Viewpoint V6 Software®, 6.7, including updates in accounting and project management, service management, mobile field and enterprise content management. This latest release further enriches the user experience, and delivers functionality designed to enhance customer business processes.

• A new interactive, drag-and-drop Dispatch Board for Service Management,
• A new capability to import Job Cost data directly into Financial Planner,
• A new Mobile Field Manager feature for Android to capture notes, productivity, labor summaries and usage on the mobile device and have it synch with the V6 Daily log and,
• Enhanced usability for Construction Imaging, including a smaller ribbon bar, re-vamped data grid, the ability to save searches that do aging style queries and on-line Help.
In addition, this release includes integration between V6 and Viewpoint For Project Collaboration, making it easy to invite project participants or team members during project set up in Viewpoint Project Management. Providing the capability to invite contacts already set-up in V6 into Viewpoint For Project Collaboration eliminates duplicate entry and significantly increasing the value for customers using project collaboration processes in their business.
