DALTON, Ga., Jan. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Village Podiatry Centers announces they will be moving to a new convenient location. Foot and ankle physicians Maria Pacheco, DPM and Shelley Brand, DPM, are the primary podiatric care providers at Village Podiatry Center of Dalton, now located at 1505 Professional Court, Dalton GA 30720. Dr. Pacheco sees patients Monday-Friday. Dr. Brand sees patients Mondays and Thursdays, with same day appointments available for both providers.
Both Dr. Pacheco and Dr. Brand are looking forward to collaborating in serving the Dalton community. Village Podiatry Centers offers all-inclusive treatment of a wide variety of foot and ankle conditions, including podiatric surgery, laser treatment, innovative heel pain therapy, and diabetic foot care.
Our new location is just around the corner from the current location with easy access and plenty of parking. It is also conveniently located to Hamilton Medial Center and numerous medical offices.
Dr. Pacheco graduated from Barry University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a minor in Chemistry. She continued on to Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine where she graduated in the top of her class. Dr. Pacheco completed her three-year Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Residency training program at JFK Medical Center in Boynton Beach, FL. She specializes in forefoot reconstruction, joint arthroscopy, diabetic wound care, limb salvage, reconstructive surgery of the rearfoot and ankle, and trauma of the rearfoot and ankle. Her bilingual skills allowed her to provide exceptional medical care and doctor/patient interaction within the large Spanish speaking population.
Dr. Shelley Brand is a graduate of the Kingwood Medical Center PMSR residency program in Houston, Texas where she served as chief resident in her third year. She earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2015. During her residency, she won several awards including the Nickerson Essay Award for her research on peripheral neuropathy in patients suffering from Hansen's disease. Dr. Brand specializes in diabetic limb salvage, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, and peripheral nerve surgery.
