Vincent Gaitley Named CEO of Institute of Financial Operations
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) September 28, 2015 -- As CEO, Gaitley will be charged with overseeing future growth and repositioning the organization, based in Orlando, Fla., including emphasizing the Institute’s value and educational resources it offers members. Specifically, Gaitley will lead internal initiatives designed to grow the membership base - including the development of programs and services designed to enhance member value and benefits - as well as evaluate and enhance events and set a foundation for proactive communication.

A business executive and administration professional, Gaitley’s expertise includes higher education, management, private business, public affairs, marketing, development and operations. He has served in executive roles, most recently as dean emeritus and previously as dean of the School of Continuing Studies for Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pa. As dean, Gaitley was responsible for the revitalization of the non-credit curriculum. His innovative leadership included the development of online and blended courses and new certificate programs and implementing offsite educational partnerships and the Evening & Weekend College, where he was responsible for all degree programs. Under his leadership, revenue grew to more than five million dollars in five years.
Prior to his role with Harcum College, Gaitley served in various leadership roles with Cumberland County College in Vineland, N.J., was president of Invest-In-America Foundation in Philadelphia, Pa. and co-founder of American Computer Educators, Inc. in Lansdowne, Pa., among others.

Gaitley earned a bachelor's degree in English and a master's in American Studies from Saint Joseph's University. He wrote his thesis on Constitutional law. Additionally, he has published op-ed pieces, features, and sports writing in several newspapers including the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Business Journal, and the Press of Atlantic City. Later this fall, America, the national Jesuit weekly, will publish one of his poems. Born in Lakeland, Florida, Gaitley was raised near Philadelphia and currently resides in Seminole County.
In addition to Gaitley’s appointment, the Institute, which has been located in Orlando, Fla. since 1993 has moved within the city to new office space, located at 149 Terra Mango Loop in Orlando. The new space is home to 10 employees dedicated to operations, member services, publications and operations.
