One of the largest fully remote job boards has released its analysis of the state of remote hiring in the U.S. for the first quarter of 2023.
TUCSON, Ariz., April 19, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Nearly nine in 10 professionals want a new job, and overwhelmingly, jobseekers are searching for a career that will not require them to work onsite.
A new report from Virtual Vocations aims to provide jobseekers with valuable hiring information to help their job searches end successfully. The "Q1 2023 State of Remote Work" report guides jobseekers through the 10 best businesses, career fields, and U.S. states for fully remote hiring.
Virtual Vocations CEO and Co-Founder Laura Spawn recognizes the importance of accurately and efficiently preparing for a successful job search: "With 87% of workers planning to look for a new job in 2023, having access to quality hiring information is critical. Our first quarterly fully remote jobs report for 2023 is an excellent resource for jobseekers to streamline their searches." However, no amount of preparation can help applicants if vacant positions are unavailable.
Thankfully, Virtual Vocations data for Q1 2023 proves jobseekers can enter a stable 100% remote job market. "Hiring for fully remote jobs was up more than 3% during the first quarter of the year compared to Q4 2022. An average of 18,000 new fully remote jobs were added to our job board each month for January, February, and March. An increase in fully remote hiring is a boon for professionals with a gap in employment or for workers anxious about the possibility of experiencing a layoff at some point this year," said Spawn.
