Virtual Vocations' Q2 Employer Partners Report on Businesses Still Hiring Amid COVID-19 also breaks down broader trends in the remote hiring landscape, including which industries came out on top among Employer Partners and which states had the most open positions available for jobseekers who want to work from home.
According to the report, more than 1 in 3 jobs shared by Virtual Vocations Employer Partners in the second quarter of 2020 were available nationwide. Over 40% of the jobs listed were full-time telecommuting positions.
These numbers give Virtual Vocations CEO Laura Spawn an optimistic outlook on the future of remote work. "While 2020 has been a year of employment fluctuations due to COVID-19, the world of remote work has continued to thrive," she said of the report.
"During the second quarter of 2020, Virtual Vocations saw 22.43% growth in the number of remote job postings shared to our job board," Spawn added.
