Virtual Vocations Releases Q3 Employer Partners Report, Spotlights Companies Still Hiring Amid COVID-19
In its latest report, Virtual Vocations names its top Employer Partners for July, August, and September of 2020 and breaks down hiring trends seen among these remote-enabled businesses during the third quarter.
TUSCON, Ariz., Oct. 27, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- One of the web's leading remote job boards is putting the spotlight on employers that continued to grow their remote teams this summer despite an ongoing pandemic.
Founded in 2007 by CEO Laura Spawn and CTO Adam Stevenson, Virtual Vocations connects jobseekers with legitimate remote job openings from thousands of expert-vetted employers, including many that work directly with the Virtual Vocations team to share their newest listings with qualified jobseekers as part of the company's Employer Partners program.
In its latest report, Virtual Vocations names the 15 Employer Partners that dominated its massive remote jobs database in July, August, and September of 2020, and breaks down hiring trends seen among these remote-enabled businesses during the third quarter.
Among their findings is some good news for jobseekers who don't want to sacrifice stability for flexibility: of the jobs posted to Virtual Vocations' job database by Employer Partners in the third quarter, 70.47% were permanent positions. More than half were full-time roles.
Virtual Vocations' Q3 Employer Partners Report also showed signs of optimism for experienced professionals looking to work from home. More than 66% of openings listed by Employer Partners in the third quarter required a bachelor's degree or some college, and nearly 60% sought candidates with past experience in the field.
Roughly 7 in 10 jobs posted by Virtual Vocations Employer Partners in Quarter 3—69.95%—were 100% remote and required no travel.
According to Virtual Vocations CEO Laura Spawn, it's all part of a larger trend of growth for remote work spurred in part by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the third quarter of 2020, the Virtual Vocations team added more openings to its jobs database "than during any other quarter in the company's history, totaling more than 133,000 remote and work at home job vacancies," Spawn said.
"While the national unemployment rate continues to decline, the far-reaching effects of COVID-19 remain evident, especially within industries and businesses that have traditionally operated solely on-site," Spawn explained. "Thankfully, remote work has provided employers, remote managers, and employees with flexible options for remaining productive and financially secure."
Among those taking advantage of that flexibility are these 10 Employer Partners that published the most job listings to Virtual Vocations' remote jobs database in Quarter 3 of 2020:
1. Achieve Test Prep
2. VirBELA
3. eXp Realty
4. Skybridge Americas
5. TTEC
6. SMC National
7. Uscreen
8. UniversalGiving
9. Haynes & Company
10. Scopic
