Vision Critical, a continuous customer insights solution provider in the Customer Experience Management (CXM) space, today announced that Gary Smith, a seasoned sales executive with expertise in hyper-growth SaaS organizations, has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Channel & Partner Alliances. Smith is responsible for building the company’s global partner business and partner strategy.
Smith comes to Vision Critical after 7 years at enterprise software leader PTC. His most recent role was Senior Vice President of Global Partner Sales, Programs & Strategy, where he developed the strategy for indirect routes to market and customer product offerings in the SMB and Mid-Market customer segment.
With extensive enterprise software industry experience, Smith has held various roles in management and sales. His background includes building winning sales organizations from the ground-up for organizations on a fast growth trajectory, including nearly two decades with PTC and Autodesk and managing partner ARR over $500M and ACV over $100M.
The company also announced today that Frank Lingenberg joins as Chief of Staff. After a decade with SAP and 4-year tenure in technology and management consulting, Lingengerg will bring his expertise in driving cross-functional initiatives to further support Vision Critical’s aggressive growth plans. Holding multiple strategic leadership positions and customer-facing roles, Lingenberg has driven process transformation spanning helping to drive one integrated team to accelerate growth and to ensure the customer is at the center of our strategy.
