Visit Temecula Valley Announces Inaugural Temecula Valley Bocce Ball Tournament with Celebrity Mario Lopez

TEMECULA VALLEY, Calif., Nov. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Visit Temecula Valley will hold its first bocce ball tournament in Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country on Saturday, December 7, 2019 with celebrity Mario Lopez. Temecula Valley wineries will compete against each other and the winning team will play Mario Lopez's team at Wilson Creek Winery that afternoon.

Celebrity Mario Lopez has enjoyed getaways to Temecula Valley Wine Country with his wife, family, and friends at least once a year since 2016. While sipping wine and taking in the beautiful landscape, Lopez also likes to play a bocce ball at the wineries.

In anticipation of his upcoming visit, Lopez says, "My wife & I are excited about our weekend getaway with family & friends to one of our favorite local destinations – Temecula wineries!"

The eight wineries competing are Akash Winery, Europa Village, Palumbo Family Vineyards & Winery, Peltzer Family Cellars, Ponte Winery, Robert Renzoni Vineyards & Winery, South Coast Winery, and Wilson Creek Winery. Round 1 at 9:00 a.m. will be at Robert Renzoni, Palumbo, BOTTAIA, and Peltzer. Round 2 at 11:00 a.m. will be at Robert Renzoni and BOTTAIA. Round 3, the semifinals at 2:00 p.m. will be at Wilson Creek. The winning team will play Lopez at the same location at 3:30 pm.

The public is invited to this free event. The semifinals and championship round include live music and food and wine for purchase.
