Founded in 1967, CIAT supports the efforts of national governments by promoting the evolution, social acceptance and institutional strengthening of tax administrations, encouraging international cooperation and the exchange of experiences and best practices.
Issues dealing with the OECD/G20 BEPS Action Plan are a priority for this year’s event. Presentation: New Technology for a Globalised Tax World
Mary will review how technology has underpinned the rapid acceleration in tax transparency in areas such as (AEOI, CRS and FATCA). She will profile how Competent Authorities have leveraged technology advances to gain speed, efficiency and ensure confidentiality of exchanges. Her presentation will highlight some the potential future applications and look at emerging threats such as cyber-attacks. Mary will conclude with some thoughts on how new technology can continue to support an increasingly globalised tax world.

About Mary O’Leary
Ms. O’Leary joined Vizor in 2017 to lead the business development of the company’s solutions for Tax Authorities. Having most recently worked in the OECD’s Global Forum for Transparency and Sharing of Taxpayer Information (Global Forum), Ms. O’Leary brings a wealth of expertise in the area of exchange of tax information to the Vizor team.
