Voyager HQ and JetBlue Technology Ventures Partner to Launch Travel Technology Event Series in London, UK
NEW YORK (PRWEB) September 05, 2019 -- Voyager HQ is partnering with JetBlue Technology Ventures to kick off the most recent chapter of its travel innovation .events series in London. This will be the first .events iteration outside of the United States and marks JetBlue Technology Ventures’ expanded focus on the UK startup community.
The chapter kicks off on September 10 with a Travel Pitch Night during which five startup founders will present their early-stage products or services to an audience of travel technologists, innovators, and investors. The event will bring together 100+ attendees representing the leading voices and minds of the UK travel and technology ecosystem for networking and conversation on the future of travel and hospitality.
Each startup will have five minutes to pitch their company, followed by five minutes of Q&A from the judging panel. Judges include Richard Viner, UK Country Manager at TravelPerk; Robert Carey, Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer at easyJet, and Raj Singh, Managing Director of Investments at JetBlue Technology Ventures.
The judges and audience will evaluate each startup and select a winner based on the criteria of business model viability, product/market fit, presentation quality, fundability, and sustainability.
.events, Voyager HQ’s global decentralized event series, launched early in 2019 with a mission to create face-to-face connections for members of travel and technology communities around the world. Currently operating chapters in San Francisco, California, Boston, Massachusetts and Austin, Texas, the events take place every month and bring founders and enterprise innovators opportunities to collaborate through Travel Founders Breakfasts, Travel Startup Happy Hours and Travel Pitch Nights.
