Beginning in 2006, the VR Hall of Fame has inducted an individual who has shown dedication to VR, supported the organization and community, and shown respect, professionalism, and integrity for the entrepreneur. Different from other halls of fame, a VR honoree's induction is bestowed while active in their career, and acknowledges a body of work to date. Every year the VR Board of Directors reviews numerous candidates, and though very difficult, selects just one worthy individual to join the Hall.
Mr. Gutierrez, joined VR in 2005, and has the distinction of owning a VR franchise for many years prior to join VR Business Sales in Tampa as a Lead Advisor. He has been a consistent worldwide top producer in the VR organization for over 15 years, with hundreds of successful transactions across numerous industries and sectors.
Chris' professional and educational background form the basis for his success. A degree in Finance from the University of Florida, was followed by a Master's in finance from Georgia State University. He is a Certified Merger & Acquisition Professional ("CM&AP"), Certified Business Intermediary ("CBI"), and a Certified Business Appraiser and member of the International Society of Business Appraisers. Such a commitment to education has proven to be a great advantage to his extended client base.
His educational background is combined with real life experience of raising capital and then buying and selling of his own businesses prior to joining VR. Chris has walked in the shoes of business owners and welcomes sharing his experience with entrepreneurs and members of the VR organization.
