Presidential Leadership Scholars are a diverse group of mid-career professionals beginning a journey to hone their leadership abilities through interactions with former presidents, key administration officials, leading academics, and business and civic leaders. The program is a collaboration among the presidential centers of George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Lyndon B. Johnson.
Women's health has been on the forefront of the minds of politicians, health practitioners and consumers for as long as we can remember. Dr. Gupta has spent over a decade investigating why women evade the gynecologist, STD rates are rising at an alarming rate, and fatal diseases are going undetected until they are no longer treatable. Her sleuthing determined that fear, apprehension, logistics, financials, and inefficient wait times, for appointments and in the office, were the culprits.
Opening the first Walk In GYN Care in Manhattan in 2014 proved to be a game-changer in gynecological care. The prestigious Presidential Leadership Scholars is a 6-month program where Dr. Gupta will refine her current award-winning leadership skills while developing a network and tactics that span traditional geographic, professional, political, and economic boundaries.
