ROANOKE, Ind. (PRWEB) September 19, 2018
“Indiana has, and always will have, a special place in my heart,” said Richard R. Waterfield, Co-Chairman & CEO, who was born and raised in the area, “Waterfield began in Indiana in 1928, and while we are now a global operation, we honor our roots. Roanoke represents the best of small-town America. We are proud to be a part of it.”
Roanoke is a small but gentrifying country town in Northern Indiana, just west of Fort Wayne, a midwestern city that has attracted national notice of late for its bustling entrepreneurial community.
Roanoke was reinvigorated beginning 28 years ago when The Eshelman family, now purveyors of Joseph Decuis, one of America’s finest artisanal farm-to-fork farming and restaurant operations, took an interest. Today’s Roanoke boasts one of Indiana’s most highly-rated restaurants, a number of wonderful espresso, ice-cream & pastry shops, a Louisiana themed Emporium, a famous Indiana small-town barber, a micro-brewery, its own quaint little post office, and abundant small-town charm.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Waterfield family to our community,” remarked Pete Eshelman, CEO of Joseph Decuis, “We believe their values match our’s, and we hope to accomplish great things together here in Indiana.”
The Joseph Decuis Emporium in Roanoke is the only place in the country Waterfield Water, a particularly pure water originally bottled exclusively for the Waterfield family, can be purchased.
Waterfield is slated to begin an artisanal farming operation in Roanoke, alongside Joseph Decuis. Over time, Waterfield Acquisitions, The Waterfield Family Office, and Waterfield Group, a leveraged buyout operation with a strong presence in New York, will also have operations in the town.
Waterfield is actively looking to acquire companies with $5-50mm in EBITDA in the following industries: Transportation, Energy, Basic Technology, A.I., Banking, Finance, Insurance, Consulting, Defense, Security, Agriculture, Hospitality, and Real Estate.
Waterfield, established in 1928, is a diversified global holding company serving over 300 organizations, including over 30 Fortune 500 companies, from offices in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Tulsa, Austin, Indianapolis, Tokyo, Bangalore, and London. Waterfield’s mission is to build a better America. For more information, please visit http://www.waterfield.com.
