Watson Announces 5 Employee Promotions
West Haven, CT (PRWEB) September 25, 2015 -- Watson Inc. is proud to announce the promotion of five employees. Most recently, Jimmy Perez of Milford, one of our 3rd shift film line operators, has been promoted to Lead Operator. Perez, who joined Watson on January 25, 2010, assumed his new responsibilities on July 27, 2015. In his new role Perez will continue fill his film line duties and also help answer employees’ questions and cover for assistant supervisors and supervisors when they are on vacation.
Eric Hanke of West Haven, one of our 2nd shift fluid bed operators, has been promoted to Lead Operator. Hanke, who joined Watson on January 31, 2011, assumed his new responsibilities on June 1, 2015. Hanke will continue to fill his fluid bed machine operator role and will also help answer employees’ questions and cover for assistant supervisors and supervisors when they are on vacation.
James McMahon of Ansonia, a 3rd shift fluid bed machine operator, has been promoted to the 2nd shift Film Production Assistant Supervisor. James, who joined Watson on September 16, 2013, assumed his new responsibilities on April 27, 2015. McMahon’s primary responsibility is to assist the supervisor in maintaining an efficient manufacturing operation that complies with current Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, safety, customer delivery requirements, and other company policies.
Don Sasek, of Wallingford, has been promoted to Director of Quality Assurance. Sasek will now report directly to the president, James T. Watson.
Charlie MacKenzie, of Clinton, joined Watson on November 10, 2011, as our Traffic Coordinator and has been promoted to Senior Logistics Specialist. MacKenzie’s primary responsibility is to coordinate all outbound domestic and inbound raw material freight to ensure timely delivery and receipt.
