Wayback Burgers, America’s Favorite Hometown Burger Joint and one of the nation’s fastest growing burger franchises, added to its franchise-development success during Q3 2018 with restaurant openings and construction across the globe, awarding new domestic restaurants and expanding further in international markets.
As a result, leading industry publications, like QSR and Franchise Times have recognized Wayback Burgers’ tremendous growth. QSR penned a magnificent feature story offering an inside look into Wayback Burgers’ Blazing Growth. Also, Franchise Times highlighted Wayback Burgers as the #2 fastest growing burger brand in its annual Top 200+ list.
Dynamic international expansion activity is fueling even bigger ambitions for Wayback Burgers. After a busy second quarter in which Wayback Burgers expanded its reach into Canada, Asia and Europe, the brand extended its worldwide footprint in Q3 by:
- Opening a second location in the DHA district in Lahore, Pakistan.
- Adding a second location in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- Starting business with a location in Salmiya, Kuwait.
- Introducing a Wayback Burgers food cart to the market in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
- Signing a lease for a restaurant in Breda, The Netherlands.
- Concluding a Master Franchise agreement with a new owner in British Columbia, Canada.
“We’re becoming a household name in more corners of the world,” said Wayback Burgers Executive Vice President Bill Chemero. “That is because we have earned a worldwide reputation for the best burgers and the best service. This reputation, earned by our phenomenal master franchisees in corners all over the world, has sparked rapid international development as we continue to grow fast in multiple states across the US.”
In the U.S., Wayback Burgers introduced itself to more guests in new restaurants, opening new restaurants in Milford, Delaware; Reno, Nevada; and Irving, Texas. The Irving location is the first in Wayback Burgers’ domestic network with a new building design that promises to make the guest experience at Wayback even more exciting, satisfying and efficient.
Wayback Burgers awarded seven new U.S. franchises in Q3 2018 with 19 more under construction. In addition, four lease signings stretched across the country, in Broadview Heights, Ohio; San Antonio, Texas; Daytona Beach, Florida; and Fresno, California.
Chemero says the company expects to sign more than a dozen new leases and award even more domestic and international franchise locations in Q4.
“Everyone at Wayback Burgers is eager to finish 2018 on a positive note, and thanks to the momentum we’ve built throughout the year, it looks like we’re ready to deliver that kind of performance,” Chemero said. “We’re also setting ourselves up for what promises to be another great year of growth in 2019.”
