Wayne Homes Announces Marketing and Merchandising Excellence Awards
UNIONTOWN, Ohio (PRWEB) February 23, 2018 -- Ohio-based custom homebuilder, Wayne Homes, received several awards from the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Portage and Summit Counties Marketing and Merchandising Excellence (MAME) Awards.
The winners of the 2018 MAME Awards were announced at a banquet on Thursday, February 8 in Akron, Ohio. Team members from the Akron-Medina and Portage model centers, as well as the home office, attended the event.
Wayne Homes was awarded Best Interior Design and Merchandising of the Year up to $350,000 for the Gettysburg Legacy floorplan displayed at the Portage Model Center. The company also won awards for Print Ad of the Year, Newsletter of the Year, Website of the Year, Social Media Campaign, and Email Marketing Campaign.
“It was an exciting evening and there was a great sense of pride among the team,” Erin Collins, Vice President of Sales, said. “Our model designs and marketing initiatives have continued to grow. The effort we’ve put into our online and print marketing with our agencies is making an impact on a personal approach to attracting customers.”
Madison Byers, Sales Manager of the Akron-Medina Model Center, was recognized during the awards banquet and won the Sales Manager of the Year award.
“Madison is one of the most driven women I have had the pleasure of working with during my career at Wayne Homes,” Collins said. “Madison is not just passionate about her customers, but also her team of outstanding New Home Consultants, as well as her amazing Design Consultant. I am proud of her for winning this award.”
Kenny Oles, a Field Manager for the Portage Model Center, was recognized during the awards banquet and won the Golden Hammer Award.
“In just under four total years as a Field Manager, Kenny has received many enthusiastic surveys from thrilled homeowners, ranking him in the top 10 percent in the company,” Alan Longstreth, Construction Manager of the Portage Model Center, said. “There is no question that Kenny has earned a nomination for the Golden Hammer Award. His passion, dedication, and genuine commitment for success in all facets of the residential construction industry only have us asking how far Kenny will go.”
New Home Consultant John Logsdon from the Portage Model Center was also acknowledged with the Platinum Home Sales Representative award and New Home Consultant Melanie Quellos from the Akron-Medina Model Center was acknowledged with the Gold Home Sales Representative award.
The MAME Awards honor individual HBA members who achieved exceptional performance in the building industry, including sales, marketing, merchandising and design efforts for new home construction, renovation, and land projects throughout the year.
