Wayne Revis and Raymond Haskins Promoted at Custom Air Products & Services
Taylor Norris, CEO Custom Air Products & Services, Inc. (CAPS), today announced that Wayne Revis has recently been promoted to Manufacturing Production Manager and Raymond Haskins to Fabrication Manager, both in the Manufacturing division. CAPS is a leading commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) company headquartered in Houston, Texas.
HOUSTON, Dec. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Taylor Norris, CEO of Custom Air Products & Services, Inc. (CAPS), today announced the restructuring of the Manufacturing Department and the two promotions this change brings. Wayne Revis is being promoted to Production Manager and Raymond Haskins to Fabrication Manager.
"We are so excited about the value these changes bring to the company, but more importantly, to the customers that we serve," CAPS CEO Taylor Norris explained. As Production Manager, Wayne is now in a position to provide support for all aspects of production and equipment manufacturing with an emphasis on managing the complete cradle-to-gate life cycle of the equipment being produced. Raymond's move into the Fabrication Manager position provides more focused management of the fabrication activities, equipment, and personnel.
Fabrication General Manager, Ken Villarrubia pointed out, "This restructuring gives CAPS manufacturing an opportunity to engage in more efficient resource allocation and better control of labor. With Wayne looking at the processes from a higher level, he is poised to have a greater impact on responding to changing conditions before they reach the shop floor, paint booth, electrical department, etc."
Wayne comes into his new role with 35 years of valuable experience and has been with the CAPS organization for nearly 20 years. Raymond also has extensive industry experience and has been with CAPS for more than 4 years. While both managers will be reporting to the division General Manager, Raymond's role is very much a functional role that applied management decisions to the specific functional area of the organization, Wayne's role is operational with decisions that allow for managing assets and resources in a more strategic way and across department lines.
As CAPS President John Boger explained, "Once again we have encountered a situation that allows us to promote from within and reward those who have contributed to CAPS' success over the years. That's a particularly rewarding experience for us."
