For the past seven years, the eTail Best-in-Class Awards have recognized the retailers that have demonstrated excellence in email, search, social media and mobile commerce marketing. This year's finalists ran the gamut from household brands like Perry Ellis, Marriott and QVC to direct to consumer (D2C) retailers that included Tuft and Needle, S'Well and Allbirds. The winners were announced on-site at eTail West (the industry's longest running conference dedicated to the e-commerce and omni-channel retail community) during a special awards gala at the JW Marriott in Palm Springs, CA.

- Best Search Engine Optimizer: Print Syndicate
- Most Exciting Tech: YourAnswer
- Retail Innovator of the Year: AllBirds
- eTail Visionary: Tuft & Needle
- Best Omni-channel Retailer: Lamps Plus
Several new categories were created this year to highlight the growing role of social media and interactive marketing formats. QVC, for example, received the award for 'Best Social Selling by a Retailer' for its innovative use of Facebook Live during its first-ever Black Friday in July. The digital and social-first event attracted over 5 million viewers on Facebook Live, eight times the viewership the company sees on a typical day on the platform.

Attendees at eTail West also chose the winner of the 'Most Exciting Tech Award", a new award launched designed to highlight the solutions vendor that they felt had the most innovative and impactful offering. Finalists included IgnitionOne, Bluecore, Perpetua and this year's winner YourAnswer.
