WCCT Global, Inc., a full-service early phase contract research organization (CRO) for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, announced today that they will be receiving 3 awards at the 2019 CRO Leadership Awards, to be held on June 24, 2019 in San Diego, CA. WCCT received 2 awards in the categories of overall Quality and Compatibility (Access to desired markets, cultural fit, timely project communications etc.) and was also honored with an Individual Attribute Award in the category of Data Quality. This is the 3rd year in a row that WCCT has been recognized as having exceeded customer expectations in multiple categories.
Life Science Leader developed the awards in 2012 and bases all recognition on research done by Industry Standard Research (ISR). This past year, 60 contract research organizations (CROs) were evaluated based on the last 18 months of clinical research performance. The winners are selected by their pharma clients, who rate the CROs on 20+ different performance metrics.
“We believe the CROs receiving an award this year are truly at the top of their class and are deserving of this recognition. Being a top performer in any of these categories shows a level of expertise and commitment to clinical trials and serving the needs of biopharmaceutical companies and their patients,” said Ed Miseta, Executive Editor, Life Science Leader
WCCT is committed to serving the healthcare industry with end-to-end solutions in early clinical development, with expertise in Ethnic Bridging, Ophthalmic trials, and Vaccines/Viral Challenge. With nearly 600 Phase 1 trials completed since 2004, WCCT is proud to be recognized amongst other industry leaders at this year’s awards ceremony in San Diego.
“Here at WCCT Global, we always try to share our broad understanding of the scientific, medical, operations, and regulatory needs in early drug development,” said Mel Affrime, President and Chief Scientific Officer at WCCT Global. “Whether it be First-In-Human, PK/PD, or Ethnic Bridging, we put our volunteers and sponsors first to ensure the best possible outcomes from the trials we get the opportunity to conduct. Volunteer safety, data integrity, and quality are our highest priority in everything we do. We are very honored to be recognized again at the CRO Leadership Awards,” said Affrime.
