Founder and CEO, Mario McCoy, found inspiration in NCMPRBL’s newest release: Glove, via his hometown Milwaukee Brewers logo. “The first game I ever went to was a baseball game when I was in first grade. The first sport I ever played was baseball when I was in third grade. I wanted to design a piece that connected today’s fashion with America’s pastime. The Brewers classic glove logo is immediately recognizable and the color scheme is inspired by the original aesthetics of the logo” says McCoy. A few of his favorite players growing up was Hank Aaron, Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders, Robin Young, Ken Griffey Jr., and Randy Johnson.

McCoy, a recent graduate of University of Southern California earned his Doctorate in Education in May 2020 and will soon launch the nonprofit Legacies Live Foundation. Legacies Live Forever is founded on the belief to Create Over Conform and will introduce its inaugural scholarship fund in 2021 for underrepresented and minority youth who aspire to utilize their education to become entrepreneurs.
