The Weekender Hotels brand is growing exponentially, and is now offering unique & vetted experiences for guests through its new marketplace of curated experiences
OLD FORGE, N.Y., June 21, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Weekender Hotels today marked the official launch of its brand new Weekender Experiences initiative and program, offering a celebration of this milestone at its flagship property, Great Pines in Old Forge, New York at the annual Camp Weekender event. The Weekender team has been hard at work for the last year growing the hospitality brand's portfolio and laying the foundations for Weekender Experiences.
Weekender Hotels founder, Keir Weimer said, "I am thrilled to officially launch Weekender Experiences. At Weekender, we want to inspire and facilitate that sense of adventure we get when we head out on a new hike, find a new trail to ski, or bike through an uncharted single track. We've grown rapidly in the past year, and now we want to bring our company culture of adventure to the forefront for our guests by offering unique, vetted and curated experiences to our visitors."
Weekender Experiences provide a curated marketplace for guests to find and book experiences from vetted world class providers in the areas of their choice, all close to a Weekender property for easy access during a guest's stay. Visitors can book activities like guided hikes and backcountry ski trips; as well as rent equipment and gear, such as snowshoes, kayaks, skis, sports equipment and bikes.

The Weekender Hotel brand portfolio currently includes Great Pines resort in Old Forge, New York, the original property acquired by Weimer in 2015; Placid Bay Hotel in Lake Placid, New York; Town House Lodge, the second hotel in Lake Placid, New York; Alpine Lodge in North Creek, New York; Trailhead Lodge in Tupper Lake, New York; Riverhouse in Peterborough, New Hampshire; and a 500-acre land development project in Lake George, NY for outdoor enthusiasts.
Weekender will continue its thoughtful expansion with two additional properties throughout New England and Upstate New York throughout the rest of the year, with a third hotel in Lake Placid and a new property coming online in July 2023; the Aspen in Manchester, Vermont.
