Wegener Receives Significant Order for Network Radio Receiver
Johns Creek, Georgia (PRWEB) July 09, 2015 -- Wegener Corporation (OTC Pink: WGNR), a provider of equipment for digital signage, television, and broadcast radio, today announced that it has received a significant order for their iPump 8640 Professional Audio Server. The order was received from a major U.S. broadcast radio network that has deployed multiple generations of WEGENER’s radio products to thousands of its affiliates over two decades.
The iPump 8640 Professional Audio Server is the next generation, store-forward radio network receiver produced by WEGENER. It is an advanced radio network platform providing four independent radio channels of audio, relay closures, and Program Associated Data. It has many advanced features including Show Shifting, Time Zone Delay, Microcasting (TM), and On Air Signal Verification (OASV). OASV provides extremely accurate verification of audio (commercial) playback over integrated AM/FM tuners.
