The WEGO Health Patient-Choice Awards honors top pharma companies that demonstrate outstanding innovation in patient collaboration to drive improved adherence, engagement and health outcomes. It is the only awards program in which winners are nominated and voted on by patients themselves. Winners will be announced at the World Congress Patient Congress in Philadelphia, April 6-7, 2020.
The WEGO Health Patient-Choice Awards recognizes exemplary pharma programs in five categories. Winners will be honored with a Bronze, Silver or Gold award, with a total of 15 honorees. This year's awards categories are:
- Best Use of Social Media to Engage Patients
- Most Authentic Use of Patients in a Marketing Campaign
- Most Valuable Patient Support or Access Program
- Most Effective Collaboration with an Advocacy Organization
- Champion for Patient Collaboration

Nominations are open from January 6 through February 14, 2020. WEGO Health will notify finalists on February 18, 2020, with judging by a panel of patient leaders to take place from March 2 through March 13, 2020. Members of the WEGO Health Patient Leader Advisory Board will comprise this year's judging panel. All are previous winners of the annual WEGO Health Awards.
