CANCUN, Mexico, Sept. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- With an investment of more than $50 million, Experiencias Xcaret opens its new adventure park, Xavage, this winter. The only one of its kind in Cancun and Riviera Maya, the park's land, air and water attractions dare guests to challenge their limits and free their wild side.
Xavage complements the adventure offerings of Xplor and Xplor Fuego by integrating six activities with varying degrees of difficulty. These attractions reflect the characteristics of its location, a former mine for the extraction of construction materials, and showcase Experiencias Xcaret's commitment to innovation.
The diverse array of adrenaline-inducing activities include: Barracuda, an exciting whitewater rapid adventure; Puma, a rock crawler ride on an all-terrain route; Dragonfly, a jet boat experience that sails at full speed through narrow channels; Hawk, the thrill of a falcon flight with an exciting takeoff; Howler Monkey, a rope course with challenging heights; and Crocodile, a kayak adventure with extraordinary scenes.
Experiencias Xcaret's seventh park, Xavage joins Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xoximilco and Xenses and adds to the Xenotes and Xichén archaeological zone tours. The park will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and has the capacity to receive 3,000 tourists daily.

A park of personal discovery located near Cancun International Airport, Xavage dares visitors to overcome challenges, discover their wild side and perform activities that were previously foreign to them. The first phase of the project began in 2013 with the construction of some buildings, but the definitive project launched in 2017 and will be completed after 12 months of intense work.
