WellCare Opens Welcome Room In Albany, NY
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) October 15, 2013 -- WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG), a leading provider of managed care services for government-sponsored health care programs, recently celebrated the grand opening of its Albany, N.Y. Welcome Room serving the Capital Region. WellCare’s Welcome Rooms are neighborhood health care information, education and sales centers that are open to the public and staffed by WellCare associates who can answer questions about Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Long Term Care health plans.
WellCare hosted local leaders including State Sen. Neil Breslin (D – Delmar), Albany Mayor Gerald Jennings and the Hon. Kathy Sheehan, Albany city treasurer, at the event.

During the grand opening, WellCare presented a check for $5,000 to the Capital City Rescue Mission, a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of the homeless and poor in the Capital Region.
