Wellness Within Your Walls partners with House Beautiful to certify annual Whole Home Concept House.

“We are so proud to be continuing our partnership with House Beautiful and of certifying our first home in Colorado. Our goal is to help people achieve well-being in every area of their lives. This year’s Whole Home Concept House truly does focus on overall health in addition to being beautiful.”

For the second year in a row, House Beautiful (HB) has partnered with Wellness Within Your Walls (WWYW) on the HB Whole Home Concept House. The home marks a milestone as the first WWYW-certified home in the state of Colorado following last year’s Concept House in Nashville, Tenn. WWYW is an award-winning education and certification organization which supports reducing and eliminating toxins in living environments to improve overall health and wellness. The organization’s extensive education and certification process enables consumers and professionals to increase awareness about toxins in building materials and furnishings and educates them on making homes healthier. WWYW’s 10-step holistic approach, known as the Healthy Living System™, results in a legacy of health, harmony and sustainability in living environments.

“We are so proud to be continuing our partnership with House Beautiful and of certifying our first home in Colorado,” said Jillian Pritchard Cooke, founder of WWYW. “Our goal is to help people achieve well-being in every area of their lives. This year’s Whole Home Concept House truly does focus on overall health and well-being in addition to being beautiful.”

The 2020 Whole Home Concept House is located in the Fox Hill community in Franktown, Colo., a unique community built around a sustainable farm just outside of Denver. It features stunning and innovative designs by breakout, WWYW-certified designers from across the country and was built by local builder Nicholas Custom Homes (NCH), also WWYW certified. Nick Nettleton of NCH plans to certify all future homes through WWYW. “WWYW’s Healthy Living System creates a value and security in uncertain times,” states Bob Nettleton of NCH.

WWYW certifies people, places, products and programs globally through education and health and wellness protocols. WWYW’s third-party health and wellness certification for homes offers the build/design industry education on building and designing with healthier measures, eliminating toxins in interior environments and selecting sustainable products. WWYW certification also focuses on building and designing in a natural, sustainable and responsible way. Health and wellness certifications can increase appraised property values by up to three percent.

The Whole Home Concept House features 5,400 square feet chock-full of beautifully-designed and smart features, views of the Front Range, indoor-outdoor living complete with a backyard WeShed, and a functional and luxurious custom chef’s kitchen featuring high-end, energy-efficient appliances from Signature Kitchen Suite. The builders and designers worked together to consider the multigenerational family and ensure every carefully curated detail of this home represents the very best in health and wellness and sustainable living.

To follow along with the design and build of the Whole Home Concept House, tune into the second season of House Beautiful’s series “Building the Dream,” premiering on YouTube and airing later this year on Amazon Prime. The weekly series highlights an individual designer or team of designers’ process of creating, managing and installing their room in a series of 12 episodes. Episode one will debut today, Thursday, October 29th, at 12:00 p.m. ET.
