Arlington, VA (PRWEB) July 20, 2015 -- Hanover Research is honored to announce the appointment of Wesley Givens as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2015. A key member of Hanover’s executive team since 2005, Givens previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Having worked across nearly every department – from sales to content – during his decade-long tenure, Givens is deeply familiar with every facet of Hanover’s business.
“Wes is a talented and respected leader, and I am so happy to have someone of his caliber to name as Hanover’s second CEO,” states Peter Dodge, Hanover’s Founder and outgoing CEO. “Given the market opportunities in front of us, the uniqueness of our model, the barriers to entry we have built, and the extraordinary trends in our industry, we have a formula for enormous success. Hanover’s future is quite bright.”
“I am humbled by the opportunity to lead Hanover through its next phase of growth,” said Givens. “The market research field is evolving very quickly and Hanover is at the forefront. We have an incredibly talented team, we are dedicated to providing exceptional content and client service, and it is exciting to see the impact of our work across all of the organizations we serve in dozens of different industries.”
Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, Hanover has over 330 employees, including a high-caliber staff of researchers, survey experts, analysts, statisticians, and grant professionals. During Dodge’s tenure, the company’s revenues increased an average of more than 125% per year, eventually earning Hanover recognition as one of the Washington, D.C. area’s fastest growing companies and a top 50 market research firm nationwide.
Dodge will remain on the company’s executive team, assuming the role of Chief Performance Officer and focusing his efforts on the optimization of operating metrics. Outside of Hanover, Dodge is Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Gardner Prescott Technology Ventures, which recently sponsored the development of a D.C.-area technology incubator and accelerator, GP Tech Labs. He is also the Founder and Board Chairman of The Peter G. Dodge Foundation, which funds promising new treatments for alcohol addiction and provides direct assistance to alcoholics and their families.
