Colangelo Leads Explosive West Coast Growth for Industry-leading Fine Wine and Spirits Agency

In just four years, Juliana has established an enviable list of leading California wine clients and built a strong team of wine PR professionals.

Juliana Colangelo, West Coast Director of Colangelo & Partners (http://www.colangelopr.com), has been promoted to Vice President. “The promotion is in recognition of the great work Juliana has done in building and managing our business on the West Coast,” said Gino Colangelo, president of Colangelo & Partners.  “In just four years, we’ve established an enviable list of leading California wine clients and built a strong team of wine PR professionals. And our growth continues, despite the challenges of Covid-19.” 

Juliana Colangelo, who completed her Masters in Business Administration from the Wine Business Institute at Sonoma State in 2019 and holds a WSET Level 3 degree, started with the agency seven years ago. Prior to heading to California to build the domestic wine business for Colangelo & Partners, Juliana worked on international campaigns for clients including Wines of South Africa, Frescobaldi, Distell, Slow Wine and others.

“When we asked Juliana to relocate from New York to the Bay Area in 2016, we had three goals,” continued Gino Colangelo. “First, to build personal relationships with West Coast-based press and wine industry influencers to serve our global client base; second, to service our global clients onsite with events and promotions in the critically important California market; and third, to diversify our international client base with US business.  Under Juliana’s leadership and with her energy and commitment to clients, we’ve made huge strides in accomplishing all three goals.”

Recent client wins for Colangelo & Partners on which Juliana has been instrumental, include Far Niente Family of Wineries & Vineyards, Vivino, JUSTIN and Landmark Vineyards. Additional new clients include the Disaronno Sicilian wine portfolio (Florio Marsala, Corvo and Duca di Salaparuta), Spanish olive oil producer Casas de Hualdo and Benchmark Wine Group.
