The Western Design Exhibit + Sale, taking place September 10 – 13, 2020, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is an incredible platform for artisans to showcase and sell their work, with an average of 4,500 visitors interested in contemporary and traditional Western-inspired functional art attending over the course of the four-day event. The approaching deadline for artist applications is March 1, 2020, with jury-selected participants also eligible for cash prizes totaling more than $20k.

After enjoying strong attendance and big sales in 2019, 2020 is expected to be a tremendous year for this ever-growing event.

Each year more than 100 leading functional artists from across the country are selected by an expert jury to participate in the highly anticipated annual Western Design Conference Exhibit + Sale in Jackson Hole. The four-day celebration of contemporary and traditional Western-inspired craftsmanship takes place September 10 – 13, 2020, at the Snow King Events Center in scenic Jackson, Wyoming, offering artisans the opportunity to exhibit, sell – with no commission taken by the WDC – and vie for cash prizes totaling $20,500. The deadline for artist applications to participate in this year’s event is March 1, 2020.

Celebrating its 28th anniversary, the Western Design Exhibit + Sale is a signature event of the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, which continually draws thousands of visitors and art enthusiasts to Jackson each year from around the world. The small mountain town has become a giant destination for art enthusiasts, offering a variety of events and ways to engage creatively each September.

The Western Design Exhibit + Sale artists enjoy an incredible proven platform for showcasing and selling their Western-inspired furnishings, home décor, fashion, jewelry and accessories during the popular event that last year brought in over 4,500 guests. The event begins with a festive Opening Preview Party on Thursday, September 10, that Cowgirl magazine has said “you won’t want to miss.”

Capturing the spirit of the West, honoring artisans and their handmade pieces that range from cowboy to contemporary styles, the Western Design Exhibit + Sale will award cash prizes to artists recognized for top work in specific categories.
