Western Missouri Medical Center Hires New CEO
LENEXA, Kan. (PRWEB) July 26, 2013 -- After conducting a nationwide executive search led by healthcare leadership solutions firm B. E. Smith, Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) in Warrensburg, Mo., has hired Susan Stiles as president and chief executive officer. A seasoned healthcare executive with over 25 years of progressive experience leading and transitioning healthcare organizations, Stiles assumed her new duties at WMMC on June 27.

Formerly, Stiles held the role of chief nursing officer with WMMC where she provided leadership for the 87-bed, state-of-the-art, not-for-profit county hospital with nearly 700 FTE’s. Stiles previously was a senior clinical strategist with Cerner Corporation in Kansas City, Mo., where she consulted on best practice and evidence-based design of new hospital facilities. She also served as chief nursing officer at Centerpoint Medical Center (HCA) in Independence, Mo., and at Menorah Medical Center (HCA) in Overland Park, Kan.

She is a member of the American Nursing Association, the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the Missouri Organization of Nurse Executives and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
