Western States Acquirers Association Announces New Board Appointments
Two new members complement expertise of longtime members elected to new roles
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Feb. 20, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Following a recent Board of Directors meeting, the Western States Acquirers Association (WSAA) is pleased to announce the election of new officers, directors and board members.
Jason Putnam of TIB-The Independent BankersBank is the newly elected President of WSAA for 2020. Putnam served on the WSAA board for 11 years, most recently as the board's Vice President.
Deborah Camm of Merrick Bank is the new Vice President of WSAA for 2020. Camm has been a WSAA board member for 12 years, serving most recently as a Director of the board.
Chase Oelkers of Folium Biosciences and Scott Defazio of Fiserv are elected as Directors of the WSAA board.
Finally, WSAA welcomes two new members to the board: John Newton of First American Payment Systems and Stephanie Shotwell of WorldPay from FIS. "WSAA continues the tradition of recruiting top notch industry veterans to the board. Stephanie and John are shining examples of that," says Putnam, the newly minted President of the organization.
