Westminster-Thurber Community Dedicates New Independent Living High-Rise
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) June 15, 2016 -- On Tuesday, June 14, Westminster-Thurber Community, a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community, dedicated Goodale Landing, an independent living residence with 68 spacious apartment homes. The eight-story, $31 million building was dedicated at an invitation-only ceremony and ribbon cutting.
Goodale Landing offers seven distinct one- and two-bedroom open-concept floor plans, ranging from 1,140 to 1,890 square feet. The beautifully-appointed apartment homes have four-season sunrooms, balconies, laundry rooms, full kitchens with pantries, heated bathroom floors and generous closet space.
Goodale Landing offers the latest amenities with underground heated parking, concierge services, a community center and a roof-top terrace. Residents can enjoy restaurant-style dining with both casual and fine dining options at The Crossings, and have access to grab-and-go meals. The new building is connected to the rest of the campus by an indoor walkway, providing easy access to all of the community’s activities and services. A new indoor pool with locker rooms and outdoor patio was also constructed. This new amenity enhances resident choices for health and recreation.
