Registered dental hygienist and Teeth Talk Girl creator Whitney DiFoggio announces the fifth annual Dental Hygiene Month Party, a free virtual celebration for the dental hygiene community taking place October 26, 2026. The event will feature more than $500,000 in prizes, products and giveaways, including a Hawaii trip, scholarships, dental products, gift cards and electronics, along with the announcement of three recipients of the Teeth Talk Girl Future Hygienist Award.
CHICAGO, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Thousands of dental hygienists, students, dental assistants and other dental professionals from across the United States are expected to participate on October 26 for the fifth annual Dental Hygiene Month Party (DHMP), a free live virtual celebration created specifically for the dental hygiene community.
Hosted by registered dental hygienist and Teeth Talk Girl creator Whitney DiFoggio, the event begins at 7:30 p.m. Central Time and is capped at 10,000 registrants.
This year's celebration will feature more than $500,000 worth of prizes, products and giveaways, including a trip to Hawaii, $3,500 in scholarships, dental products, gift cards, iPads, Apple Watches, AirPods and hundreds of additional giveaways throughout the night.
The event will also mark the announcement of the three recipients of the Teeth Talk Girl Future Hygienist Award, which provides $3,500 in scholarships to dental hygiene students preparing to enter the profession.
"Dental hygienists spend so much of their time taking care of everyone else, and this is one night that is completely about celebrating them," said DiFoggio. "There is something really special about bringing thousands of people from our profession together at the same time. I want everyone who joins us to have fun, feel appreciated and remember that they are part of an incredible community that extends far beyond their own dental office."
Launched as a celebration of National Dental Hygiene Month, DHMP has grown into an annual celebration designed to give dental professionals a night to step away from the operatory, connect with their community and celebrate the impact they make on patients every day.
Unlike a traditional dental conference, the Dental Hygiene Month Party is live, virtual and completely free to attend. Participants can join from home while taking part in live games, giveaways, special appearances, community moments and surprises throughout the evening.
This event represents an extension of DiFoggio's larger mission through Teeth Talk Girl: making oral health education more approachable while supporting and celebrating the dental professionals responsible for delivering that care.
