Whitsons Culinary Group Appoints Laura Gaglione to District Manager
Islandia, New York (PRWEB) May 17, 2016 -- Whitsons Culinary Group (http://www.whitsons.com) is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Gaglione to District Manager. Laura will be responsible for providing leadership and management for several Food Service Directors within Whitsons’ growing territories.

Laura Gaglione has over 19 years of combined experience in the food service industry and has demonstrated proficiency in leadership and organizational development for Whitsons School Nutrition division for several school districts. Laura received her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration and Management from the New York Institute of Technology in Westbury, NY and has most recently served as the Food Service Director for Lindenhurst School District. Prior to Whitsons, Laura was employed by the New York City Office of School Food and Nutrition Services as a Food Service Manager.
Laura has proven to be an invaluable asset to Whitsons’ success in the Lindenhurst school district. She has continuously brought fresh ideas to the table daily, from overseeing the day-to-day operations of each school within her district, to the supervision and training of staff in safety, sanitation, customer service, and food preparation. Laura has been instrumental in ensuring Whitsons’ mission of “Enhancing Life One Meal at a Time” for every student on a continued basis. “I feel incredibly honored to be promoted to District Manager for Whitsons Culinary Group,” said Laura. “It has been a pleasure working for Whitsons for so many years and seeing how supportive Whitsons is of its’ female employees. As a District Manager, Laura will be overseeing all operations for multiple school districts within New York State. Laura was selected for a senior role after receiving much praise from her colleagues and management. “We had some excellent applicants, and this was an incredibly hard decision to make.
