A new baby brand is rolling out the red carpet and giving parents the star treatment.

born free is hosting a pop-up experience where expectant and new families can live like top-tier influencers. At a time when most brands are courting an elite class of influencers, born free is turning the influencer concept on its head and inviting everyday moms and dads with less than 5,000 followers to enjoy that lifestyle for themselves.

The June 1 “Find Your Free” event, hosted by Motherly, will escort attendees through massages by FaceLove, skincare and makeup by Follain, custom bracelets by MyIntent and toys, play, music and stories by Rose & Rex, The Dough Project, Jam with Jamie and StoriesBK.

“For regular people, the world of social influencers seems attractive but unattainable,” said Jen Johnson, VP of Brand Marketing for born free. “Influencers get the best of everything, and most of us feel that lifestyle is out of reach. We wanted to explore the idea where our lack of following – the thing that's holding us back from being offered these experiences – becomes the key which grants us access to something out of the ordinary.”

From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The Mezzanine in New York City, attendees will leave the scroll and go on a stroll through activities and installations like the Wall of Onesies, where two of them will select a Golden Onesie with a pair of Hearts On Fire earrings pinned to their heart and other prizes worth more than $5,000. Ten will receive gift bags worth more than $200. Everyone will receive gift bags with special offers from born free and all brands involved, including Twelvelittle, Cocoongoods and Momkindness.

“This event puts aside macro-influencers, micro-influencers and the pressure of documenting everything,” said Johnson. “It’s about people who don’t consider themselves members of the influencer class, and giving them a memorable day with their growing families.”

Attendees can RSVP for a limited number of spaces to the free event here.
