Armando joins Wi-NEXT with over thirty years of experience in the high-tech field, bringing to market innovative solutions, such as the fiber to the home technologies of PON. Armando Pereira is the founder and General Partner of the PVentures Group, a consulting practice in Silicon Valley working with companies to build partnerships, raise venture financing, and to develop go-to-market strategies. During his career he developed and led joint ventures worldwide, including China, India, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Brazil and the US.
Before founding the PVentures Group, Mr. Pereira served in several senior executive positions, such as President / CEO of FlexLight Networks, General Manager of the Optical Business Unit of Centillium Communications, and President / CEO of Alloptic. Mr. Pereira was a director on the board of the Telecommunications Industry Association and Electronics Industry Alliance, and a member of industry standards organizations T1 and IEEE. Mr. Pereira is the recipient of several entrepreneurial awards and currently a judge on the selection committee for Startup Chile.
