Willig, Williams & Davidson Attorney Elected Officer of PBA Family Law Section
Kathleen Tana will serve as secretary of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Family Law Section this year, working her way up to chair of the section in 2022.
PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ --Willig, Williams & Davidson is proud to announce that attorney Kathleen M. Tana has been elected to serve as secretary of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Family Law Section for the 2019 term.
This role is the first step in a succession of officer roles that is expected to see Tana serving as Chair of the section in four years; she will serve as Secretary this year, Treasurer the following year, and Chair-elect the year after that, culminating her service by serving as Chair of the section in 2022.

An attorney in the Legal Services department of Willig, Williams & Davidson, Tana focuses her practice in domestic relations and family law, counseling clients in divorce, support, custody, equitable distribution, adoption and domestic violence matters. She is particularly pleased to be able to provide high-quality legal representation to those who might otherwise be unable to afford legal counsel.
In addition to the Philadelphia Bar Association, Tana also is a member of the Nicholas J. Cipriani Family Law American Inn of Court, which was founded to promote professionalism, ethics, camaraderie and education among the bench and bar. She also enjoys providing pro bono legal services to animal and dog rescue organizations, and has served as a volunteer attorney for the Senior Law Center in Philadelphia.
Another Willig, Williams & Davidson attorney also will serve in a leadership capacity in the Family Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Associate attorney Aneesah El-Amin-Jaamia serves on the section's executive committee.
