APPLETON, Wis., Feb. 3, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Wisconsin Connections Academy (WCA), one of Wisconsin's first full-time, tuition-free online schools, is now accepting students for the upcoming 2020-21 school year. From now until April 30, parents statewide can register their child in any grade, now including four-year-old kindergarten (4K). Wisconsin Connections Academy operates through the Appleton Area School District so families living outside of this school district are encouraged to complete an Open Enrollment Application via the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
Wisconsin Connections Academy is an online public school serving 4K-12 students with the continuous support of experienced teachers and educational resources to ensure a flexible, standards-aligned curriculum tailored to their individual learning preferences. Wisconsin Connections Academy encourages its 500 students to take an independent initiative in learning with guidance from teachers to stay on track and meet the same state standards as traditional school counterparts.

"Since starting at WCA, Franki has been able to audition for American Idol, sing at Green Bay Packers games, and produce multiple songs about mental health based on her experiences being bullied. She has also been invited to perform at school assemblies across the country and talk to students about her success and the importance of having a positive and kind character."
